MATTER OF BALANCE - Wednesdays, October 5, 12, 19, 26 and Fridays, October 7, 14, 21, 28 from 1:30 – 3:30pm. If you missed this class in the summer, here’s your opportunity. Matter of Balance is a 4-week, 2 sessions per week class, conducted by the 50 North Fitness and Wellness staff, structured group intervention that emphasizes practical strategies to reduce fear of falling and increase activity levels. Participants learn to view falls and fear of falling as
controllable, set realistic goals to increase activity, change their environment to reduce fall risk factors, and exercise to increase strength and balance. You do not need to be Fitness & Wellness Center member. Limited space available. Advance registration required.
