Wednesdays: January 4, 11, 18, and 25 1:00 – 3:00pm Fridays: January 6, 13, 20, and 27 1:00 – 3:00pm. If you missed this class in October, here’s another opportunity. This 4-week, 2 sessions per week structured group intervention emphasizes practical strategies to reduce fear of falling. Participants learn to view falls and fear of falling as controllable. We’ll set realistic goals to increase activity, change environments to reduce fall risk factors, and exercise to increase strength and balance. You don’t need to be a Wellness Center member.
