Nutrition is about so much more than diet. Eating well helps you maintain a healthy weight and gives you the energy you need to stay active. 50 North provides nutritious meals, opportunities for social interaction, and activity. 50 North Nutrition Services include: daily lunches served in the Marathon Café, mobile meals, and grocery delivery.
50 North offers lunch Monday through Friday in the Marathon Café from 11 AM-1 PM for adults 50+. Lunch is $6.00 per person and includes the following items:

Our friendly Mobile Meals service delivers two nutritious meals, Monday through Friday, to those who are not able to prepare their own food, whether or not they live alone. Weekend meals are available upon request and delivered on Friday. Meals are prepared daily in our kitchen and are available for short- or long-term needs, with no time limit for receiving the service. Mobile meals are delivered by caring volunteers.
Meal service begins 24 hours after sign-up. If requests are made after noon on Friday, meals can start the following Tuesday.
Cost: $7.25 for one hot meal or $10.00 for one hot meal and one cold meal. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
When: Meals will arrive between 10:30 AM and 1 PM.
Meal Payment: You will be billed once a month after services are received. You do not need to pay the delivery person.

Grocery delivery is offered in partnership with Great Scot Community Markets. Each week, seniors may order 5-15 grocery items to be delivered to their homes by volunteers on Wednesdays between 10 AM and 2 PM. Seniors pay only the price of the groceries; currently there is no delivery charge or other service charge.
