The Annual Giving Fund supports programs and services that enrich lives and supports independence for adults 50 and older in Hancock County.
It directly funds the financial assistance program to keep essential services - like meals in the Marathon Café and home delivered meals; chore assistance for home modifications and maintenance, medical alerts, activities, and fitness – accessible to those with limited means.
Because many participants can only pay a small portion of the cost, we must raise $125,000 each year to bridge the gap.
You will find options on the donation form that allow you to direct your gift toward specific areas such as activities, chore, nutrition, outreach, wellness programs, or the area of greatest need. You may also choose to make your contribution in memory of, or in honor of, a special individual or individuals.
50 North is a non-profit organization, and we are classified as a 501(c)(3) organization. All gifts to 50 North are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
