New Durable Medical Equipment Program at 50 North
In partnership with The Ability Center of Greater Toledo
We’re excited to share a new way we’re helping support health and independence in our community!
50 North is now partnering with The Ability Center of Greater Toledo to enhance access to durable medical equipment for those who need it.
What does this mean for you?
• We’re still accepting gently used equipment donations, carefully reviewed by our Outreach staff. If you have items to donate, just contact the Outreach Department!
• We now have a dedicated supply of wheelchairs and rollators, purchased through a grant, that are reserved exclusively for 50 North member use.
• Each month, The Ability Center will help by picking up any extra equipment we don’t need.
• And best of all, if we don’t have what you need onsite, we’ll connect you with The Ability Center, who will deliver the item directly to you at no cost.
This partnership helps us serve you better...keeping our community strong, mobile, and supported!
